Your Mission:
- Supervise and coach technicians and support personnel to achieve vehicle readiness KPIs including throughput while minimizing downstream service efforts at other locations through on-site solutions.
- Perform day-to-day coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments related to ordering and delivery throughout the warehouse, internal stakeholders, carriers, service centers, and body shops.
- Continuously monitor performance within the shop floor and take responsibility for quality. Ensure factory vehicles are of the highest quality in terms of cost, Global Recruitment standards, and customer expectations.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and maintenance as required.
- Communicate potential roadblocks or deviations in delivery times to appropriate departments.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations throughout workshops, set the tone, and lead by example at all times.
- Identify any obstacles that disrupt shop flow and ensure each technician has the tools and training needed to perform their duties.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure the shop floor is clean and orderly.
- Ensure that work standards and available technical procedures are up to date and correct, and that all work is compliant.
- Serve as the primary port contact for vehicle readiness, liaising with key stakeholders and providing regular updates as required.
- Plans, prepares, and assigns work to technical staff based on skill level, capabilities, and resources.
- Motivate, lead, and inspire teams to continuously improve and increase efficiency.
- Identify any training needs within the team and schedule such training as needed.
- You will be required to carry out practical work on vehicles alongside the team as required, particularly during busy periods.
Your contribution.
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
- Analytical skills to understand and influence key performance indicators.
- Problem-solving proactiveness is about correcting problems when they arise, but also understanding why and how they occur.
- Ability to inspire teams, engage others, and help them achieve goals and success.
- Calm, thoughtful attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Digitally savvy – able to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Familiarity with MS Office.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write effectively in English and other local languages (French or Dutch).
- You must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
The responsibilities of this position may change over time - therefore this position requires flexibility, including with travel to different locations and work hours/dates.
