Transportation Network Engineer

The Global Recruitment (GTS) team is looking for a passionate and customer-focused manager to lead the EU Shipping Network Engineering team in the European Union, helping us design and optimize our shipping network. The role includes understanding the physical and virtual shipping processes, from our fulfillment centers to the last-mile carriers that deliver packages to customers.

As part of the EU Customer Fulfillment Network Design team, you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise and analytical skills to identify and drive projects across our transportation network. To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to influence all business functions and effectively manage stakeholder expectations. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring you to be detail-oriented and have the ability to collaborate with multiple business and technical teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement network design and optimization strategies to support cost reduction, increase shipping speed, and improve the shipping experience for Global Recruitment customers.
• Develop strategy, prioritize technical and operational initiatives, assess and set stakeholder expectations.
• Develop necessary tools to enable optimal design of networks.
• Work closely with commercial, operational and technical stakeholders to drive implementation of initiatives.
• Develop cross-functional teams in project delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• ⚠+ years of program or project management experience
• ⚠+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Bachelor's degree completion
• Possession of Excel (Pivot Tables) , VLookUps) and SQL to define program requirements and experience using data and metrics to identify improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• ⚠+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior management.
• ⚠+ years of experience driving process improvements, with stakeholder management experience and responsibility for dealing with multiple stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
• Experience with construction processes, project management and schedules.
