The Trade Marketing Executive role will lead our trade marketing and brand marketing strategies in partnership with our dealers in selected European countries (Poland, Greece, Cyprus and Portugal). Based in Leuven, Belgium, this position plays a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of our brand strategy and advertising activations across our indirect model paths to market.
Role: Support the annual joint business planning cycle with local sales partners. Define the necessary trade marketing activities to execute our brand plan in the country. Plan all possibilities for brand marketing and support implementation together with our partners. Establish strong communication processes with our key external and internal stakeholders and build strong synergies with sales stakeholders (Global Recruitment’s Brand Managers, Sales Managers, Trade Marketing and Local Account Partners). Support our channel partners with trade marketing management: trade investment allocation and reporting, co-development with other regions, trade marketing KPIs (tracking and reporting), POC segmentation and POCM allocation. Work closely with the Trade and Brand Area teams to identify new opportunities: innovation, consumer experience, best practice and optimization. Implement KPIs: Coach and collaborate with partners to ensure tracking of our success metrics by having the right POCM, providing the right channels for POCM/Market Plan initiatives and POC excellence. Implement the development zone brand strategy and integrate into the local market. Assist in the development and implementation of online and offline media plans, with a special focus on consumer experience. Ensure our partners follow our brand toolkit and trade marketing guidelines to ensure consistency and quality activations. Lead strategy and execution based on brand standards, support our partners' teams and monitor/report performance against success metrics.
Skills: Lead through influence and build strong collaboration with local stakeholders. Design, develop and implement our trade marketing strategic plan based on the global mission to be accomplished. Responsible for providing strategic transaction advice based on opportunities/gaps in the region. Develop our annual game plan with trade marketing solutions and policies. Provide bottom-up transparency to stakeholders through clear reporting procedures (budgets and key performance indicators). Responsible for achieving our trade marketing KPIs. Design strategic plans: product launches, marketing innovations, product updates and portfolio expansions. Implement our global brand campaigns in local markets. Manage and build networks with local providers to create new opportunities to reach more consumers. Global Recruitment - A business degree in a relevant marketing or business field is an advantage. Minimum ⚠ years of professional experience in FMCG industry. Prior knowledge in sales, trade marketing or marketing expected. You speak English fluently (the work environment is English). Prior knowledge of managing budgets (planning, tracking, decision-making and reporting). Skilled storytelling: Presenting and judging the business case. Ability to understand, imagine and act on business opportunities. Organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan workload to meet goals and deadlines. Deal with ambiguity and respond to unforeseen opportunities. Processes can be established and new routines created. Candidates should be able to establish strong communication processes with stakeholders and build networks among colleagues and partners. Lead and inspire others through influence.
