Job Description

For the well-known participants in the retail sector in Ghent, we are urgently looking for assistant accountants to temporarily strengthen the team. If you have some experience in accounting and can quickly find your way back, then please read on!


Your responsibilities as an assistant accountant include:

  • You are responsible for booking the purchase invoice
  • You match the purchase invoice with the correct order form
  • You are responsible for the checkout check
  • All-round accounting tasks

Ideal configuration file to be eligible for this job:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, ideally with some experience already, retail experience is a big plus
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office, experience with ERP software packages is recommended
  • You speak fluent Dutch, other languages are a bonus
  • You are social, structured, and hands-on
  • You can be available immediately or in the near future
