Job Description:

You are part of the team renovation team Tracks & Roads and work together with about 15 colleagues in Antwerp (base Greenhundstraat). The plan and structure determine our day, and various activities make this day full of charm. It may be that you are busy performing corrective and preventive maintenance on the mechanical switch housing. The next moment you will adjust and rebuild the mechanical exchange body. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining the lubrication system in the rail area and renewing the rotor. All this to ensure the quality of passenger transport.

What makes you an expert?

• Hold a degree in mechanics or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge and experience in rail infrastructure is recommended
• Experience with forklifts and wheel loaders is recommended
• Willing to occasionally work at night and weekends
• Hold a B driving license (or the possibility to obtain it in the short term) and plan to obtain a C driving license in the short term
• Hold a valid VCA certificate or be willing to obtain one
• Good knowledge of Dutch
