A good customer of your new employer, Global Recruitment (an international petrochemical company) is urgently looking for a technical support person Team leaders to strengthen the IT team. This is a full-time position with a permanent contract.

Your new role:

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the technical support team. You will serve as a Lead Agent, driving customer satisfaction through customer support. You will provide direct supervision of technical support staff, which may include: recruiting, evaluation, and disciplinary action. You will serve as a mentor, providing supervision, guidance, and training to technical support staff. Documenting and tracking team SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and workflows is part of your responsibilities. When technology upgrades occur, you are the point of contact. You will provide support to internal and external customers as needed, including after-hours support. Clearly communicate escalated issues during daily management meetings and report to the Defect Manager. Manage and report on all incoming technical support requests. Join All New members of the technical support team. You will be responsible for supporting the creation of team KPIs and monitoring and reporting results. This position allows you to travel to on-site projects around the world. You will be actively involved in operational implementation and quality assurance of new product and feature releases, as necessary. You monitor team performance and report on key metrics. You create and view billable hours. You will ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are resolved correctly, promptly and professionally. Work on creating relevant support materials for the team. Provides a feedback loop to wider staff and customers on resolved and ongoing issues and incidents. Implement all necessary precautions to reduce customer errors and issues. Review all processes and documentation related to technical support for continuous improvement.

Your Profile

You have a bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent experience. Have at least five years of technical support experience. Communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Willing to travel to various offices abroad from time to time. You are an excellent verbal and written communicator. Proven people management and leadership skills. Knowledge of IT topics like: Windows, O⚠, Linux and MySQL knowledge is an advantage. You have extensive experience managing services and supporting focused team cultures. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate and resolve customer support requests. You are able to efficiently complete multiple tasks under time pressure. You already have experience leading customer-focused teams. Demonstrate a results-oriented mindset and continually strive for excellence.
