Job Purpose: Establishing a strategy, standards, a base for suppliers and supporting the design and delivery of THMS Team projects across all BUs. Leading the development of supports for specific, multiple THMS Team projects, individually valued at €⚠ million.

What you become part of: The upstream and process technology team is responsible for creating and implementing standards and specifications for equipment associated with the Upstream and Process technology in order to install it in THMS Team networks. The U&P team is responsible for developing equipment and designing processes in a standard fashion. Technical support to projects and other departments involved in the Design/ Approval process of existing projects. (IPCs) This role will:

  • Technical expertise that is primarily located in Germany will initially support the German sites and ensure they follow the THMS Team technical standards and general guidelines. However, the position is significant and will require support of Western Europe THMS Team locations.
  • Own ⚠ or ⚠ expertise regarding U&P technology within the team.
  • Manage projects when a new concept or prototype equipment is being implemented.
  • Work with the capital project execution teams to ensure that they follow the THMS Team standards and general technical guidelines, plus they must help define the proper scope within the process and water treatment.

What is expected: The development of equipment and the design of standards: The primary equipment areas of focus for this role will be the treatment of water, the preparation of beverages and srups, the blending of products, the sanitization of equipment and the treatment of wastewater. Create, educate, and maintain standards and specifications for THMS Team processes and equipment based on the assigned technology lead. Incorporate the Project Management experience and site operations to ensure that the THMS Team Process and Utilities' equipment is comprised of the most effective and learned-of practices. Work with the Asset Care and Operations teams to create common technical documentation standards (e.g. PFDs, Functional Descriptions, Operating Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, OPLs, Commissioning and Qualification rules, etc. for processes and utilities ⚠. Join and influence the base of suppliers in order to fulfill the current and future requirements of THMS Team. Describe the safe, hygienic, economic, simple, and efficient operation of equipment associated with processes and utilities. Specifically, this role has a focus on water and energy conservation initiatives and technologies. Discover opportunities and create specific technical solutions for projects that improve the Process and Utilities capacity and optimize projects. Review the external landscape and other industries' benchmarks in order to recognize potential new technologies that would be appropriate for our company.

Provide Support to the Capital Project Execution Teams:

  1. Work alongside the capital project teams during the planning and design phase in order to ensure that all new installations are built according to the THMS Team guidelines. Provide technical support to the capital project teams and the site engineering teams during all of the project's lifespan where necessary. When new technologies are being employed for the first time, take a leadership role in the management of the execution and monitoring of metrics associated with said new technology in order to ensure its successful installation and qualification at Support Production sites. Follow a linear progression of steps within THMS Team and with all of the key vendors in order to address the failure of process equipment and the after-market support of suppliers when unusual and complicated technical issues are encountered.
  2. Support sites as the subject of expert knowledge to facilitate the improvement of equipment performance. Support the sites as a technical subject matter expert for solutions that accompany the site during the design and implementation phase of projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the supply, storage, transportation and distribution of equipment, materials and goods as well as the organization's manufacturing and production processes. Activities include assembling; controlling materials and planning; managing relationships with suppliers; logistics and supply chain management; purchasing; and inventory control.

Skills & Essentials: Experience is necessary. Site-specific management and/or engineering project management. Projects that are at or above ⚠.⚠m€ associated with the scope of Process Syrups, Water treatment and Wastewater treatment. • Experience in the design, development, and execution of manufacturing facilities for food and beverages. Discussed cases that demonstrate problem resolution and learned things, with specific technical abilities pertaining to the process or utility. • Roles will typically require the analysis of intricate issues and alterations to the method of working in the customer's area of work. Necessary skills include the ability to resolve process issues and associated product quality issues. Functional technical abilities necessary. • Understanding of the hygienic design of ⚠As and their installation and process in order to ensure effective micro performance. Accountable for the technical operations and engineering of the organization.• Understanding of the process of water treatment.

Activities include designing, constructing, testing, and operating machines; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are achieved in the production of goods, and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications. Technical abilities that are preferred. The position requested requires a person with extensive knowledge of technical subjects, who is able to instruct and simultaneously learn, and who has an initiative to investigate and incorporate new technologies into their practice.• Technical requirements for the application of hygienic design principles in the manufacturing of syrup and in the treatment of wastewater. • Legal experience in processing and storage facilities (Chemicals and gases).

Location Head office based but consider the role is field based on the basis of travelling to and working from the location of active projects or technical support according to demand and business. Travel was necessary. ~ ⚠ percent of the time, including Western Europe THMS Team sites and participants.
