Teacher for the English language section

The Third European School in Brussels is looking for:

⚠ Primary School English Language Teacher. Fixed-term contract (approximately ⚠ hours per week).

The European School is an intergovernmental organization providing multilingual and multicultural education. Locally hired teachers are hired on a salaried basis to teach in elementary schools.

Requirements:

• Native English speaker or proficient in the language of instruction (English: certified C⚠ level)
• Recognized qualification as a primary school teacher and/or university degree (certified by national authorities)
• Understand the school's second working language (French)
• European citizens or persons with a valid work permit in Belgium
• Ability to effectively differentiate instruction in mixed classes
• Strong motivation to teach in multicultural and multilingual environments
• Ability to work and collaborate with colleagues, management, and family

Start date: ⚠ February ⚠

Availability: The school offers a one-year fixed-term contract (approximately ⚠ hours per week). The school is offering a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year (⚠ August ⚠). Under certain conditions, the contract can be extended.

Total Salary: Full-time position €⚠,⚠.⚠ per year (⚠.⚠ hours per week)
