Job Description: System Engineer HPC

Location: Hainaut

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain daily operations of the Walloon supercomputer
• Manage resources and tools
• Provide user support: assist with setup and software issue resolution
• Document technical specifications for new equipment
• Collaborate with suppliers for maintenance and updates
• Improve user and system documentation

Requirements:

• Good analytical abilities
• Knowledge of Slurm and PBS
• Experience with parallel file systems like GPFS and Lustre
• Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Fortran
