Supply Network Planner – DS (Drug Substance

Our partners are looking for a Supply Network Planner - DS (Drugs) to strengthen their team. This international company is best known for its pharmaceutical products.

Production MPS Planning

  • Create and deploy a feasible MPS plan for one or more production nodes within the MPS timeframe (⚠M+) and hand over PrOs and POs to production partners.
  • Leverage the company's advanced planning tools - OMP+ and SAP - to create applicable monthly/weekly MPS based on Anaplan inputs developed by E⚠E product planners.
  • Ensure production plans are aligned with customer requirements, inventory policies and E⚠E S&OP product planners.
  • Responsible for Distribution Replenishment Planning (DRP) for managed products.
  • Work closely with global distribution and logistics to manage day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct capability alignment assessments to identify gaps, work with partners, supplier teams or on-site local planners to find solutions and escalate to S&OP level when necessary.
  • Establish interim capacity reviews (S&OPs) with manufacturing sites (CMO and internal).
  • Manages all transaction data in the system for its dedicated asset-based plans calculated at a tactical level.
  • Control freeze and execution of MPS-wide plans.
  • Ensure production plans match availability of previous production steps.
  • Manage possible plan changes within the frozen scope.
  • Work with marketing, Global Recruitment, suppliers, QA and E⚠E product planners to manage short and medium term supply risk.
  • Create STO and communicate with logistics as soon as inventory is available.
  • Plan and coordinate with production and planning staff the availability of all re-stamping, rework, validation, maintenance stops, and deviating lots.
  • Manage change control related to planning activities.
  • Consolidates inventory requirements (items, deployments and destruction) and serves as the primary point of contact for various functions, production nodes (CMO and internal sites).

Supply Performance Management:

  • Responsible for weekly monitoring and analysis of supply performance against defined KPIs (OTIF, ATP...).
  • Responsible for moderating delivery performance discussions within supplier teams and with partners.
  • Key performance leader within the supplier team responsible for root cause analysis (measurement, analysis, improvement and control).
  • Responsible for leading field performance management across the hierarchical department structure and production node (CMO) where applicable.

Capacity Planning:

  • Develop capacity/capacity views for each production node and assist in developing future mutual supply agreements with the CMO.
  • Actively participate in SIOP cycles (Pre-SRM, SRM, IR), participate in capacity expansion projects and initiatives of production node representatives in supplier teams.
  • Capacity assumptions remain consistent from SAP/OMP to E⚠E.
  • Product Planner, Tactical Scenario Planning and Decision Making.

Resolve upgrade issues:

  • Lead the resolution of supply issues for production node upgrades with support from the vendor team and supply network leaders.
  • Responsible for updating stakeholders on delivery impacts, solutions and numbers and supporting supplier teams and production site representatives to expedite issue resolution (Current Issues, Super Care, etc.).

Planning Integration:

  • Integrate input into delivery plans, scenario planning, supply decisions, assist in resolving delivery issues

Process and System Improvement:

  • Facilitate and provide input to Supply Center of Excellence (SC CoE), Global Planning and Global Sales to ensure appropriate assurance
  • Execute process and system governance and propose improvement initiatives (planning, implementation, forecasting) when necessary. , performance management, etc.)

Partners:

  • Responsible for establishing relationships and trusted collaboration channels with production base supply chain representatives, improving and maintaining work practices according to guidelines and network management manuals.
  • Actively participate in supplier team and OMR meetings.

NPL and LCM:

  • Master Data Readiness, Artwork Readiness (Tag Implementation), PO-MPS Alignment, Next Step DS Batch Readiness, Next Step DP Batch Readiness, Next Step Equipment Readiness, Initial Production + Readiness of final batches for packaging, production sequence agreement, initial delivery confirmation (quantity and delivery date), sample agreement - market launch (FG/DP/DS)

Digitalization and Innovation:

  • Support implementation in partnership with GSC Team (SC CoE) Innovation and digitalization initiatives, the CMO network guides collaboration until the start of project execution.

Manage network changes:

  • Business case input, Vendor supply agreement creation, Capacity model definition, Critical component definition, CMO operational strategy alignment, CMO department alignment, CMO department requirements translated into operational decisions, Risk management and upgrade process: Responsible for ensuring (provided) Risk management governance for CDMO networks involves issues beyond short-term operational risks. Input, assessment, mitigation from Tier ⚠ to major Tier ⚠ or Tier ⚠ suppliers.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree Certifications (Description):

  • APICS Fundamentals

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in French and English

Pharmaceutical operations background and/or planning experience.

Technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Knowledge of performance-oriented systems in SAP/OMP (or a quick learner).

Experience or willingness to work in a manufacturing operations environment.

Stakeholder management, influencing skills.

Ability to manage detail and complexity.

Clear oral and written communication (English).

Analytical thinking, KPIs and results orientation.

Possess planning and constraint management skills.

Ability to learn quickly in complex environments.
