Accountable for the supervision and processing of incoming and outgoing cargo; coordinating with other areas and third parties in order to ensure that orders are completed and delivered to customers. Our client, who is based in Antwerp, is a chemical company that has a global presence. For their European headquarters, they are augmenting their resources, which currently meets their current need.

Supply Chain Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Daily operational interactions: collaborating with the warehouse(s), shipping agents, and third party logistics providers (⚠PLs), in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• ERP processing tasks: handling shipments, managing inventory, processing purchase orders and invoices, generating customer reports, maintaining files.
• Management of imports: reviewing vessel documents, entering orders, coordinating with the warehouse and customs brokers, communicating with shipping agents, processing receipts, maintaining records.
• Internal procedure audits: participating in internal procedure audits.
• Product transfers and shipments: coordinating product transfers between warehouses, applying for duty refunds and tariff changes.

Requirements:

• Minimum ⚠ years of professional experience in logistics.
• Experience in inventory control and storage, import and export operations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels.
