We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for our client specializing in energy management and automation. Pilots qualification of parts through the Part Product Approval Program (PPAP) during product development and actively participates in PPAP through the Product Management Process (PMP), particularly during transfers of responsibility milestones. Resolve supplier gaps and non-compliances and review the effectiveness of supplier actions and escalate to the Supplier Quality and Development team [Supplier Quality Management Engineer (SQME), Supplier Supply Chain Management Engineer (SSCME)] when necessary (Supman Meeting) Manage incoming material inspection policy and optimization. Monitor and report on supplier quality performance within the facility. Lead supplier process audits. Ensure critical parts inventory and associated supplier status via CQCS/P (Component Quality Control Specification/Plan) and FAIR (First Article Inspection Report). Guide the end-to-end PPAP process.
Also important - Quality Area (QCO) users have a particularly good understanding of the dynamic rules of the inspection process (parts and incoming material inspection). Implement quality principles in production (check and recheck, first part pass, work stoppage, error proofing, rework, temporary quality wall and final inspection, non-conformity management, process level inspection). Ensures the process control plan is being applied through daily reviews and working with methods and production departments. Lead root cause analysis and problem resolution of quality issues (A⚠, ⚠D, ..) Become a part of production line short interval management. Create and maintain quality control documentation. Conduct process audits and process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Provide input and solicit questions regarding the quality of new products or product development (PMP and Global Recruitment) and regularly evaluate Global Recruitment process execution, including proper use of tools (Symphony, Tempo, NextGen PDM, etc.). Manage exceptions. Become a local expert in assembling products and resolve technical part quality issues in the factory using ⚠D methodology to control containment, corrective and preventive actions.
