Sr. Manager, Customs & Trade

Develop operational and execution strategies for EU and UK customs clearance activities. Drive strategically important initiatives (planning, automation, optimization) and collaborate cross-functionally to identify key areas of opportunity. Create and iterate metrics to measure performance and identify errors and trends to deliver best-in-class quality, performance, productivity and cost. Drive standardization of operational processes; work with operations and technology partners to build repeatable and predictable structures in areas of uncertainty to improve consistency and reliability in operational performance. Lead overall operational excellence initiatives. Link policies, standard operating procedures, internal controls, monitoring and reporting to operational and compliance improvements. Monitor, anticipate and drive proactive change through in-depth expertise in business topics; this includes regulatory changes, evolving supply chain models and innovative solutions to address barriers. We serve as subject matter experts and compliance advocates for all customs activities, working with technology, product management, legal departments and other key stakeholders. The Senior Manager must be a strong communicator, highly collaborative, and able to work effectively across different organizational levels and geographies. Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Management experience in a large (⚠+ people) organization
• ⚠+ years of experience in transportation management, customs clearance and origin consolidation
• ⚠+ years of experience managing international supply
• Experience with merchant product flow into fulfillment/distribution network
• More than ⚠ years of process management experience

Priority Qualifications

• MBA/MS in quantitative or supply chain related discipline
• Experience creating and scaling start-up organizations
• Successful experience working cross-functionally to drive large-scale continuous improvement efforts
• Strong working knowledge of analytical skills, forecasting, capacity planning and metrics utilization
