Energy Category Manager Job Description

Location: Barcelona, London, or Luxembourg

Overview:
The Energy Category Manager will be responsible for leading the Renewable Program in the EU, with a focus on on-site renewable energy such as solar-powered roofs, wind-powered roofs, hydrogenerated power, and battery storage. This position requires strategic sourcing expertise and close collaboration with various teams and suppliers to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies for category sourcing
• Reduce costs and increase productivity across the energy category
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
• Master fundamental activities of sourcing
• Implement category strategy and influence stakeholders
• Oversee multiple projects in various locations

Requirements:

1. Experience in the solar industry, including EPC contracts, pricing, and supply chain knowledge
2. Technical and economic understanding of the solar market and regulations
3. Desired experience with wind, hydrogen, and BESS
4. Strong business acumen and ability to innovate
