Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer
The purpose of the EU OPS Integration DEA team is to enhance the customer experience by improving the efficiency of their deliverance while maintaining a low cost. Being the engine of operational excellence at H&R Solutions, driving through zero defects with the ideal operation of the platform, being the heart of the Fulfillment network and its center of excellence, being proactive and aspiring for zero defects across the network with ⚠% of organizational participation. The EU OPS Integration DEA team is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer that will support the company's vision of providing customers with the greatest possible experience in the world, as well as the company's mission of making customers happy by providing tools, methods and capabilities for operational efficiency. As OPS DEA Sr. BIE, you would contribute resources and knowledge for all data associated with reports (dashboard, scorecards, analysis, and creation of tools). On top of your internal customers in the OPS DEA team, you would contribute more generally with your experience and abilities across the organization, partnering with various departments in Ops Integration (Concession, Packaging, Sustainability) primarily with ATS (SC, LH), AMZL and GTS on multiple projects. You'll participate in the community of Analysts within Ops Integration, including BA, data scientists, and BIE or SDE, which are split across different departments. You'll participate in projects that require you to collaborate closely and directly with Operations, these projects require you to have a thorough understanding of the product's flow and process across the distribution chain. The EU OPS DEA team is now celebrated for their proficiency and superiority in developing tools that greatly enhance the customer experience. Several components of the team development for the EU are now being employed in other regions, some of these components have become commonplace worldwide. You will have to participate in the development of a data-based decision process from historical information and ML-based predictions, as well as maintaining a accurate and reliable data infrastructure. You'll have to work across the entire enterprise, and you'll encounter a variety of functions from Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change management. The successful candidate will have the capacity to work with minimal supervision and instruction, manage multiple projects simultaneously and support projects. Maintaining communication with your customers in both operations and the team, while possessing deliverables that are end-to-end is desired. Crucial to the success of this role is your capacity to collaborate with large data, develop insightful analysis, communicate findings in a lucid and compelling way, and work effectively as part of the team, increasing the bar and requiring a high standard. Design, create and maintain automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards that are scaleable, this will enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. Work with program managers and partner with Operations, Finance, Technology, Change Management and Customer Experience in order to comprehend the business requirements and implement solutions that will support analytics and reports. Conduct ad hoc studies of data quality and analysis. Implement solutions for training and documentation that maximize the value of our self-serve reporting tools for stakeholders. Create and maintain the analytical technologies that provide our customers with immediate, versatile and structured access to their data. Defining, developing, and maintaining critical business and operational reports that are reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Analysis of historical data that yields significant results and knowledge is gained from large, complex data sets. These data are accessed and prepped, and hypotheses are made regarding the data. These hypotheses are then tested and evaluated. A conclusion is drawn regarding the data and its significance and impact on the business. This process is followed by a written and verbal presentation of the results and recommendations of the process. This process is collaborated with by the software development team to implement analytics and data structures that support large-scale data analysis and the delivery of machine learning models. Understanding of the data resources of H&R Solutions is required, this will be used, how, and when. We are open to hiring candidates to work from one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX Basic Qualifications, Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data storage. Coding experience in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, Scala, Java, etc.) The capacity to direct, multitask, and prioritize a growing workload that is constantly evolving. Adept at using at least one data visualization product (Tableau, Qlik, H&R Solutions QuickSight, Power BI, etc.) demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of difficulty, to multi-task, and to prioritize tasks. Obtained experience with the efficient optimization of complex SQL statements. Experience working directly with business participants to convert data into information that's useful to business Preferred Qualifications include a master's degree in Business Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or another related field. Experience creating and delivering custom reporting solutions that cross function. demonstrated ability to implement BI engineering principles (e.g. rigorous analysis, code quality, data quality, data modeling, operational excellence, automation, and visualizations). Experience with R, Python or other programming languages related to statistics or machine learning. Be autonomous, and demonstrate the capacity to complete projects that are ambiguous.
