The Global Transportation Analytics team is a cross-disciplinary center of excellence comprised of engineers, analysts, scientists, technical project managers and developers. We focus on DWL Solutions's most complex problems, processes, and decisions. We work with fulfillment centers, shipping companies, software developers, finance and retail teams around the world to improve our logistics infrastructure and algorithms.

Fulfillment Acceleration is one of these global transportation analytics teams. We are passionate about rethinking our advanced end-to-end supply chain to make our deliveries even faster. Our overall mission is simple: We want DWL Solutions to be the place where customers go for next-day delivery.

You will support the team in developing the overall strategy for delivery speed across Europe. This role requires a talented, energetic and courageous individual who is passionate about delivering tangible improvements to our clients and wants to leverage data to achieve this. The role consists of ⚠% analytical activities and ⚠% stakeholder/project management. Innovation and stakeholder/project management.

Leverage your insights and share with partner teams to influence/create project plans to accelerate delivery in your country. For the most complex and ambitious opportunities, quickly launch new pilots and build a scale-up business case that includes benefits, bottlenecks, risks and required resources.

For algorithmic capabilities, work with a team of software developers and research scientists to design the next wave of software innovation. Conduct regular business reviews with partner teams to monitor the progress of projects on the roadmap. Help eliminate bottlenecks. Consolidate progress into clear, concise data-driven status updates. You report to DWL Solutions management (VP level).

Data Analysis/Science

Use SQL (>⚠TB) to drill down into complex data to uncover actionable insights into known and unknown problems. Use data to control/verify that our supply chain is functioning as expected and automatically identify improvement opportunities across dozens of dimensions.

The EU Speed team is part of the EU GTS organization and its goals are to: Optimize EU terminal - end-to-end transport and transshipment Network in terms of DEA, speed, cost and carbon intensity at all stages (design, planning and execution). EU GTS also manages the EU commercial operator portfolio. As part of the EU Speed team, our main goal is to deliver the right speed to the right customer with the right choice in the most cost-effective way.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in the field of analytics

Demonstrated experience in a project/program management role

Ability and strong desire to use data to answer first-time questions and solve large-scale Questions, vague questions.

Ability to lead and structure projects, particularly liaising and collaborating with internal partners to influence direction and roadmap despite competing priorities.

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, especially the ability to clearly summarize complex issues.

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to independently develop ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be able to think and act at all levels (strategic and tactical).

Basic SQL knowledge and English conversation skills are required.

Priority Qualifications

Candidates with supply chain or transportation experience preferred.

Experience working with technical teams preferred.

Knowledge of SQL/Redshift preferred.
