Software Development Engineer , EAM/APM

The RME team is building the world's most comprehensive and effective asset management database. The Asset Performance Management team (Global Recruitment) manages the Global Recruitment program through our software platform, master data management strategy, configuration and solutions, deployment, BI reporting and KPI development, training and documentation. Global Recruitment programs are used in fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and global networks across many stakeholders.

We are seeking a successful and distinguished Software Development Engineer (SDE) to support our development of Global Recruitment applications and related tools to increase the reliability of our assets and drive application optimization. The SDE will work with stakeholders from multiple business areas to gather requirements and develop user-friendly and intuitive applications. SDEs will work on customer-facing applications, data or application integrations, and optimize existing code. As an SDE, you are responsible for setting high standards throughout the entire software development and delivery lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and application development, data warehousing, an interest in connecting data to key business trends, business judgment, strong curiosity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. He/she will work closely with business and technical teams to analyze many non-standard and unique business problems and utilize creative problem-solving approaches to deliver results. He/she will be proactive, have no issues with ambiguity, be able to see the big picture and be creative, have strong attention to detail, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment...

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant professional experience
• Software development, professional experience creating production software systems, experience with data structures, Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving and complexity analysis
• Java, C, C++, C# Development, .NET, XML, JSON
• Application working experience - 🔗, Restfull API, SOAP
• Experience with database concepts like TSQL, Database design, stored procedures, triggers, and at least one No-SQL solution.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and ETL jobs and optimizing complex queries.
• Understand HTML⚠, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Jquery and other front-end technologies.
• Proven track record of working on complex modular projects and providing leadership in such projects.
• Proactive and self-reliant, able to define own design and testing scenarios.
• Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infor EAM and/or other EAM software solutions
• Master's degree in data analysis and debugging skills
• Strong embedded systems debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Experience with real-time debugging tools (software)
• Proficient in IIS ⚠.⚠ deployment model with Windows Server ⚠ + Experience
• Experience with Microsoft BI technologies such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS.
• Experience with AWS services (Redshift, S⚠, EC⚠, Lambda, SNS/SQS, RDS, Aurora) is preferred.
