The Lorraine Global Recruitment (LLBC) is a ⚠% Canadian company with over ⚠ years of experience in the baking and milling industry. As a Shift Leader (Patisserie) at Global Recruitment, you will be responsible for organizing and executing daily production and packaging activities in the Patisserie department. Your role involves ensuring the quality of work and final products, maintaining efficient team operations, and promoting employee health and safety.

Your tasks include proposing improvements for better performance, reporting to the Pastry Production Manager, leading a team of around ⚠ employees, and overseeing daily production management and planning. You will contribute to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality within the organization.

Responsibilities also include creating the weekly staff schedule, fostering a positive work atmosphere, making strategic decisions to improve the team, promoting a safety-focused culture, and handling administrative tasks to support the Production Manager.

Your Profile:

• Successful completion of a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to engineering or food sciences, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, stress tolerance, and results-driven behavior.
• Extensive understanding of production processes, organization, problem-solving ability, and fluency in Dutch.
• Organizational strength and a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach with problem-solving skills.
