This requires creating one of the world's largest private charging networks and defining innovative electrical designs to enable smart grid processes. Align and set stakeholder expectations for the installation of Global Recruitment electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and/or smart grid. Develop and manage suppliers to ensure installation capabilities, commissioning quality and smooth on-site interaction with other teams such as Health, Safety and Operations. Fully understand the technical standards of electrical equipment. Perform design verification to ensure various teams adhere to electrical standards when installing electrical equipment. Serve as subject matter expert and support field engineering staff in preparing on-site installations for execution. Write and present business cases to leadership to determine plans.
A day in the life Your day may involve working with all levels of the organization and multiple stakeholders to drive short, medium and long-term decisions that have broad impact across the entire Global Recruitment network. They will also work with partners from operations, process improvement, health and safety, ergonomics, finance, procurement and external suppliers to design and deploy new equipment and processes for various process paths at Global Recruitment delivery stations.
About the EU Global Recruitment Sustainability Engineering team is responsible for defining and continuously improving electrical standards for electric vehicle charging networks and smart grid solutions. We ensure the reliability of our designs and pay great attention to costs, as we consider resource waste to be one of the biggest risks of sustainability measures. The scale of Global Recruitment’s last-mile network requires teams to develop close partnerships with other teams: we receive planning and financial justification from the Global Fleet Team or the EU Sustainability Team; we leverage the presence and skills of the on-site engineering team to carry out the installation. We continually receive feedback from our maintenance and operations teams to improve our products.
