Senior Supply Chain Manager, Network Operations


Global Recruitment Chain Managers play a central role in our global operations. They ensure our complex international supply chains operate smoothly and efficiently. As a Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will work closely with multiple stakeholders at Global Recruitment, from the operations team that fulfills customer orders to the retail team and everything in between. They help us optimize our supply chain, provide a better customer experience, and make our company more energy efficient and cost-effective.

Scope and Impact: Forecasting supply chain managers support critical forecasting initiatives across teams within their organization. S/he is responsible for defining the roadmap, aligning priorities and goals, defining milestones and a cross-functional framework to deliver a forecast roadmap that improves forecasting processes and metrics. With his/her support, he drives or implements important business-critical decisions, even when speed is critical to those decisions. This role mentors and mentors junior team members on forecasting processes and improvement initiatives.

Execute forecasting processes and projects: Manage difficult forecasting processes and provide the forecasting and planning team with success on larger, more complex and diverse projects. This role is primarily involved in setting project requirements and driving the team/partners to achieve goals, from launch to maintenance of day-to-day operations. Your work often impacts goals and forecasting metrics for an area and across multiple teams.

Level of ambiguity: The complexity lies in the complex structure of the mid-mile network. As a result, business problems and project strategies are often uncertain. Nonetheless, this role is able to deliver results independently, even while seeking guidance from colleagues, stakeholders, and superiors.

Process Improvement: The supply chain manager uses his/her expertise in tactical areas to identify structural improvement opportunities in forecast areas and then implements these opportunities across the organization. Define supply chains and operating models for different companies. Analyze and interpret data to improve efficiency throughout the supply chain and multiple operations. Work with the team to provide advice and resolve operational challenges. Support the planning and organization of complex projects.

A Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Manager Global Recruitment has a lot of problems to solve. You will work with a range of teams to address the challenges posed by situations affecting our network. You spend time solving temporary problems and focusing on the big picture to drive Global Recruitment toward new goals. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan new projects. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be required to assist with field tasks and more tactical work. No two days will be the same. You could spend one day defining our supply chain and operating model and the next helping plan site resources for busy periods. Your role is diverse, which means you learn something new every day. This position is based at one of our European headquarters. You have the flexibility to choose where you work or occasionally work remotely.

Basic qualifications. a conclusion. Demonstrated experience analyzing data and preparing reports for senior executives. Relevant experience communicating with a broad range of stakeholders, including your peers and managers. Proven experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines. Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English.

Priority Qualifications. Experience drives process improvement. Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related field
