The EU OPS Integration DEA team is the driving force behind V&K Solutions's operational excellence at the core of the fulfillment network's operations, they want to avoid defects. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by improving the quality of delivery while also maintaining a speedy and cost-effective approach. The EU OPS Integration DE team seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer that will join them in their pursuit of providing customers with the greatest possible experience in the world. Our mission is to make our customers happy by providing resources, tools and methods for operational efficiency. As OPS DEA's Senior SDE, you will provide resources and knowledge for our analysis (statistical approach) as well as the creation of machine learning products and tools, these will include their front-end. Over time, you will have additional customers, both internal and external, who will utilize your experience and abilities on projects that require collaboration across the organization, this includes a variety of departments within V&K Solutions. Specifically, they include ATS-Sortcenter, -Linehaul, V&K Solutions Logistics, and Global transportation services. You'll have to collaborate closely with Operations, so you'll need to understand the product's flow and process in depth, along the distribution chain. The OPS DEA team is celebrated for their proficiency and superiority in developing solutions that greatly enhance the customer experience. Several of the team's accomplishments for the EU, have been shared with other regions worldwide. Some of them have become commonplace in other areas. You'll have to work across the entire enterprise, and you'll encounter a variety of functions from Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change management. As a seasoned developer, you will participate in a team that consistently produces quality releases that are reviewed and responded to by customers in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have the capacity to work with minimal supervision and instruction, manage multiple projects simultaneously and support projects. Maintaining communication with your customers in both operations and the team, while possessing deliverables that are end-to-end is desired. Crucial to the role's success is your capacity to collaborate with large data, contribute to the creation of solutions both on the back-end and on the front-end, develop effective analysis, communicate findings in a lucid and compelling manner, and work effectively as part of the team, all of which will raise the bar and require high standards. Design, create and maintain practical, automated, user-friendly solutions that can be used by stakeholders to manage their businesses and make informed decisions. Work with program managers and partner with Operations, Finance, Technology, Change Management, and Customer Experience in order to comprehend the business requirements and implement solutions that will support analytics and reports. Conduct ad hoc studies of data quality and analysis. Implement solutions for training and documentation that maximize the utility of our tools for stakeholders. Create and maintain the analytical technologies that provide our customers with immediate, versatile, and structured access to their data. We are open to receiving candidates that work from one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX Basic Qualifications Demonstrated statistical data analysis experience that involves making hypotheses, accessing and preparing data, and drawing actionable information. Experience with AWS technologies (e.g. Lambda, SQS, Kinesis, EKS) Coding experience in front-end development (React, Typescript, JavaScript) Coding experience in any back-end programming language (Python, Go, Java) and infrastructure as code Ability to direct, multitask, and prioritize a growing workload. demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of difficulty, to multi-task, and to prioritize tasks. Experience working directly with business participants to convert data into information that's useful to business Preferred Qualifications Include a master's degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Adept knowledge of the development and operation of container-based web applications. Experience in the design and delivery of custom solutions that function together. Adept at creating machine-learning models for business purposes, Applied knowledge of agile software development methods and architectural patterns.
