Senior Program Manager , Global Transportation

Global Recruitment’s EU Global Shipping Services (GTS) is recruiting a passionate and customer-focused Senior Project Manager to join the EU Shipping Systems and Configuration Optimization team. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the physical and digital shipping processes, from our fulfillment centers to the last-mile carriers that deliver packages to customers. Use data and research to create innovative solutions to broader challenges within the organization. Take a holistic approach to analyze business operations and drive improvements and optimization across a range of teams and organizations. Work with senior management to create and prioritize optimization plans from start to finish. Works with stakeholders to improve operational performance of each program. Coordinate multiple cross-functional projects in parallel across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, and across the organization to meet tight deadlines while driving competing priorities. Find the root causes of recurring problems and invent new tools and processes to prevent them. Analyze large amounts of data and transform it into clear insights using visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Quicksight, PowerBI). Work with technical and business teams to identify and promote opportunities to optimize our transportation system.

A day in the life. As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive network optimization by developing a deep understanding of the performance of our transportation systems and aligning with business intent. You can use your systems and operational knowledge to influence business decisions and define what's good. They change the way we translate business needs across systems, aligning with Global Recruitment's goal to positively impact the network, our end customers, and internal metrics such as cost, delivery accuracy, or speed. The successful Senior Project Manager in this position will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. You must be detail-oriented, able to work comfortably with multiple business and technical teams, influence all business functions, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• ⚠+ years of relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operational environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to structure around complex projects
• Lending mature skills and breaking them down into smaller parts.
• Proven experience communicating with and influencing a range of diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
• Relevant experience managing large-scale programs or projects.
• Business English proficiency.
• Experience analyzing data to drive decision-making.
• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLookUps) and SQL
• Experience telling stories using visual tools (Tableau, Qlik, Quicksight, PowerBI)
• Experience defining project requirements and using data/metrics to determine what looks good.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical teams in a cross-functional environment
