Job Description: Senior Product Compliance Manager


Are you interested in collaborating on a high-profile, high-intensity, high-fun and international team? We are seeking an ambitious and talented Senior Product Compliance Manager that will help us to support our growing business while also maintaining our brand. You will participate in operations by taking part in a variety of product-related matters, primarily concentrated around the import of borderline products. You will directly collaborate with retail procurement teams, transportation companies, legal professionals, taxpayers and other internal participants in order to promote product compliance across the supply chain. Work with the Global Recruitment team to implement strategies, promote and enforce global Product compliance processes, seek automation opportunities and utilize technologies. Help with cross-border import operations that are supported by Global Recruitment's Global Product Compliance and Legal departments, together, these departments will create policies regarding the product's compliance with regulations. Help the Global Product compliance teams at Global Recruitment implement and maintain processes that are in line with established policies. Ensure that the UK and European Union's import and export regulations for products are met, as well as other functions like retail and legal. Create practical solutions to driveable business problems that will meet the requirements of European law regarding the import and export of products from and to Europe. Educate both internal and external participants in our projects and procedures in order to ensure their compliance. Help the Global Recruitment technology teams develop the most effective Product compliance solutions for our business. The capacity to increase or decrease. leverage data to enhance compliance with Global Recruitment.

About the team


The EU Trade compliance team is a functional group of approximately ⚠ members, it is part of a larger team that has over ⚠ members in Europe and over ⚠ worldwide. Global Recruitment is incorporated into the international supply chain of Global Recruitment. We are willing to accept candidates for employment in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with European products safety or consumer protection, or export regulations.
  • Previous knowledge of the European regulations associated with example: REACH, RoHS, EMC, Toy Safety, RED, WEEE, and the CE Marking Directive.
  • Intrigue to expand your knowledge of additional product types as necessary.
  • Proficiency with the implementation of processes that comply with regulatory requirements, such as the EU Klimak method, is preferred.
  • Additionally, experience in project management is required, along with strong analytical and computer abilities, strong written and spoken communication abilities, and a desire to succeed in Luxembourg if not as a citizen.
  • Previous retail, e-commerce or electronics experience;
  • The ability to utilize technology to improve processes;
  • The familiarity with SQL;
  • The ability to work with IT professionals and process improvement experts like Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing;
  • The presentation of complex ideas and the capacity to articulate them to non-functioning audiences.
