Senior FP&A Controller

Experience #lifeatGlobal Recruitment at a glance. Works with many brands. about work. As the Senior FP&A Controller you will report directly to the Head of EU Plant Financial Operations. You are responsible for cash management and also support the performance review process at the factory supply points (Wevelgem, Belgium - Kettering, UK - Soguignard, France). You will ensure complete, high-quality, timely delivery of management reports and contribute to defining business objectives. You work with different teams (e.g. Finance, Operations, local teams as well as corporate group level) and are a sparring partner to the company (management and internal stakeholders in the plant-based category and Global Recruitment). Your primary responsibilities include:

• Budgeting and Forecasting: You will support the budgeting process and strategic planning to address plant-based operating budgets and financial forecasting. They organize the company's activities by coordinating the monthly closing process and tracking financial results against budgets.
• Overhead and Cash Reporting: You prepare, analyze and report financial information (overhead, working capital, cash-related KPIs, etc.) for the plant supply point to perform financial and interim analysis and monitor financial KPIs and important business drivers. This way, you can provide management with timely, accurate, and relevant information while remaining accountable for the numbers you report. One of your main tasks is to pay your semester fees (June to December).
• Process Definition: You evaluate existing internal reporting processes and procedures and recommend improvements to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Business Acumen: You have an overall understanding of business principles and work with your managers to develop an overall view of financial activities based on detailed interpretation of business results to help (senior) management implement thoughtful business decisions.
• Improvement and Business Development Projects: You will lead projects related to the financial reporting process to ensure continuous improvement of area controls to optimize financial support to management.

About You In order to achieve the above goals and to be successful in this role, we believe you must have:

• Master's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of ⚠ years experience in finance department. Candidates with commercial/commercial/operational/FP&A control experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• A team player who demonstrates flexibility and initiative.
• Experience using Global Recruitment and Global Recruitment standard reporting tools preferred.
• You speak English fluently. Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
