As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for the development of new wiper blades, wiper blade assemblies or packaging together with the design team. You translate market needs into product concepts to secure or expand Bosch's market share. You will participate in various project teams and work closely with project managers and marketing staff. You work according to Bosch product development standards (AA-PEP, DFE, FMEA, DRBFM...) and ensure that correct documentation is provided and up to date. You will coordinate with the design team lead and project manager to determine resources and schedule required for construction. You ensure quality, deadline and cost specifications are met. You work with the purchasing department and participate in technical meetings with suppliers and tool manufacturers. You work with an outside design agency. You can use Siemens NX software to coordinate and create designs from concept to final ⚠D and ⚠D drawings. You determine the material of the component. You can evaluate concepts by simulating and testing prototype parts. They work according to design guidelines, ensuring that the designed products can be assembled on highly and semi-automated production lines. This happens in close collaboration with process development. As a Senior Designer, you work across departments on a global scale. You mentor young designers. You support designers in the Chinese and Serbian development departments. In cooperation with the department responsible for intellectual property in Stuttgart, you analyze patents and actively support the international patent management of wiper blades. You will make presentations and present your designs to marketing and project and management teams for approval. You support root cause analysis of design-related complaints. As lead designer, I am responsible for the development of Ruitenwissers, components and packaging of Ruitenwissers. I believe the market will struggle to find the right product concept to support the Bosch market. We work with project teams and collaborate with project managers and marketers. I am responsible for setting Bosch product development standards (PEP, DFE, FMEA, DRBFM...) and ensuring that all documentation is available and up-to-date. I also discuss with the project manager the resources and schedule required for construction. I ensure project execution impacts quality, time and cost. I need to work with ink and need some technical advice from a lever and tool manufacturer. I work with an external design office. I coordinate and produce designs for all ⚠D and ⚠D projects developed. The Siemens NX program is required here. I need the material for the component. I validated the concepts and tested the prototype using simulations. I work according to design guidelines and ensure that my finished product can be assembled automatically or semi-automatically. This means I'm now working on process optimization. As a senior designer, I work, work too much. I train junior designers. I received support from designers on patent management and business aspects in China. I then met with the Central Patent Registration Office in Stuttgart to obtain the patent and handle international patent management. I created separate presentations for the marketing, project, and management teams to win their support for my design. I conducted a root cause analysis by visiting India and then linked it to the project.

You have a Master's degree in Engineering or Product Development/Design with at least ⚠ years of relevant experience. You are a team player and have good communication skills. You are creative and like to work in a down-to-earth manner. They speak English fluently. Knowledge of German and/or Dutch will be an advantage. You have experience using common computer programs. You have or are willing to learn design and drawing knowledge in Siemens NX. You are ready to travel. Your work is precise and methodical. Each position requires a Master's degree in Product Development Technology and at least ⚠ years of related experience. I am a team player and do a lot of communication. Duits are a plus.
