Senior Cloud Solution Architect - Data
We seek a Senior Solution Architect for the Cloud (CSA), who specializes in Data (with a focus on operational Databases), and who is dedicated to helping our customers achieve their goals on Global Recruitment Azure. This is a role that involves the customer, who is directly involved in the technical relationship with Global Recruitment, this helps customers to utilize their Global Recruitment investments through architecture, implementation, and operational concerns. Customer Centricity is the understanding of how to best address the data of customers as it relates to business and IT goals and metrics. This will lead to the design of Data & Analytics solutions that will have a positive effect on business value and will be trusted by customers. Deliver solutions according to the MS recommended practices and utilizing repeatable intellectual property (IP). Apply the technical knowledge of the profession to design solutions that satisfy the needs of the business and IT, create data and analytical maps, and ensure the long term technical viability of new deployments, integrating key AI technologies when appropriate. Study It All - Maintain technical abilities and knowledge, keeping up to date with current trends and competitive information; collaborate and share with the technical community of AI while educating customers about the Azure platform. Increase customer satisfaction - Share knowledge, participate in the creation of IPs and their reuse to increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or another related field AND ⚠+ years of experience in the cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) support, systems administration, network operations, software development, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications support, OR equivalent experience.
- Languages: Dutch or French, plus English, are all considered preferred or extra qualifying languages.
Business Value: The capacity to communicate the business's need and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers is considered paramount. This encompasses the capacity to convince and inform based on evidence and agreement with the goals and strategy of the company (Trusted Advisership: The capacity to develop a trusted advisor status and to maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders (e.g., technical decision makers, business decision makers) through an understanding of the customer and the technology. Situational fluency: The use of self-awareness to interpret verbal and non-verbal signals in order to increase your capacity to 'read the room.' Insightful listening: this is the process of asking insightful questions that will help understand the customer's needs, issues, business environment and drivers, and taking more than what the customer has said.
Technical Breadth of technical knowledge and experience in the foundational security area, the foundational AI area, architecture design, and subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: Deep domain knowledge in one of the Data-specific areas, such as the Azure SQL Data (IaaS/PaaS), deployments and migrations to the cloud, Open-source database deployments and migrations, NoSQL Databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, etc), Data Governance, etc. OR direct experience with the respective products in an expert capacity. Experience providing Proof ofConcepts (PoCs) and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to deployments. Competitive Landscape: Understanding the fundamental Data & Analytics tools like AWS, GCP, Snowflake, etc. Software development methods like DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Developer Services, GitHub) and container orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and Azure Kubernetes Service, GitHub).
