Senior Category Manager - Procurement, EU External Fulfillment

As a Senior Category Manager, you will establish and be responsible for building strategic relationships with external logistics providers (⚠PLs) and senior internal stakeholders while building collaboration within the organization and across organizational boundaries. You drive critical procurement activities and ensure the availability of equipment and services to achieve business goals while minimizing risk. You will become a trusted advisor on strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. In this role, he manages internal and external relationships while establishing new categories and processes.

We are seeking an executive with procurement experience to strategically source products and services as part of our external fulfillment procurement organization. This position will work collaboratively and collaboratively with multiple teams to develop and implement category sourcing strategies and processes to achieve savings and increase productivity across the category. Identify, develop and deliver long-term sourcing strategy and lead sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the category roadmap decision-making process with senior management.

Facilitate business relationships with suppliers with the primary aim of achieving optimal cost and performance; leading supplier performance management; including improving sustainability and social responsibility; coordinating and collaborating with operations teams to implement and manage your defined strategies implementation.

Learning Opportunities: Develop category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to optimize Global Recruitment's competitive position. Build a supplier base that is diverse and representative of the communities Global Recruitment serves. Maintaining appropriate relationships with category suppliers, the client's goal is to achieve the best solution and operational cost that meets company objectives, supported by a culture of continuous improvement using performance benchmarks.

Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities. Develop and implement supplier relationship management activities to reduce risk. Improve performance and add value to Global Recruitment. Align with internal customers and understand the business applications of the category. ~⚠% travel for business, including occasional international travel.

About the team Our team is committed to becoming a provider of procurement for our stakeholders Single point of contact for support. We're finding ways to expand the capacity of Global Recruitment's customer fulfillment network faster and more efficiently than ever before. Global Recruitment is part of the external fulfillment organization, with key stakeholders being various teams in network planning, supply chain, operations, finance, legal, etc.

Basic qualifications. Completed a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, economics, or business analytics. Experience in purchasing or supply chain management or equivalent. Negotiation skills and supplier relations experience required. Experience working on projects with tight deadlines. Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams with shared responsibilities.

Priority Qualifications. Experience in warehousing and fulfillment services. Strict supply. Project management skills; able to drive project implementation involving various stakeholders. Presentation and training techniques. Experience working in an international company with a matrix organization. Have a broad and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of strategic sourcing.
