Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in an enterprise software or cloud sales role.
  • Experience working with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding business goals.
  • Experience building territories from the ground up and understanding the security partner ecosystem.
  • Learn about cybersecurity and Google Cloud market trends.
  • Ability to build ongoing relationships, advance to C-level leadership across security and IT business areas, and ensure customer success and adoption leading to customer scale.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize business activities with attention to detail.

As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help grow our cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will work with customers to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders with empathy while identifying innovative ways to expand impact across the team. You will work with the internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sales team to grow their security business and increase the overall value of GCP. Responsibilities

  • Create and execute effective regional development plans to promote security products to new and existing security customers, achieving or exceeding quarterly goals.
  • Develop and nurture pipeline and manage the cycle from lead generation to customer onboarding.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Work with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Customer Success, Channel & Product, and Engineering teams to represent customers and deliver great lead and customer experiences.
  • Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasting and team meetings, serve as a stakeholder to the regional cloud leadership, and report current, accurate, and timely forecasting and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.
