Job Description: Security Officer

For the IT Security department, we are currently looking for a Security Officer to be part of the team overseeing the security of our organization's IT systems. In this role, you will help promote the security strategy of Global Recruitment and ensure that necessary security efforts are delivered across the entire organization. Your responsibilities include maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information to safeguard the security of all data within the Group.

• Implementation of the IT security strategy by creating general security rules, regulations, procedures, and best practices for all IT aspects across the enterprise.
• Preserving the IT production environment with a focus on security initiatives by communicating regularly with managers, business strategists, team members, and project participants.
• Educating and raising awareness among end-users on all IT security aspects through innovative training sessions to enhance security awareness and advise the company on the latest information security technology.
• Auditing, evaluating, and monitoring IT security to respond to significant security incidents, coordinate security breach investigations, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Monitoring the market for advancements in the field, staying informed of trends, sharing knowledge with peers, and proposing improvements to enhance IT security.

Requirements:

• ⚠ years of experience in the insurance sector or relevant field.
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in French or Dutch with a good understanding of the other language.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders.
• Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle stress, and meet deadlines.
