Sales Specialist - Azure Infra


Overview

As an Azure Infrastructure Specialist supporting our core customers, you will be a Solution Sales Manager for our company and lead a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to drive the sales process and hit/exceed quarters in assigned accounts Azure revenue and usage/consumption targets. You are a trusted advisor and expert on infrastructure topics, with core capabilities and expertise in server migration and modernization, VDI, security, and more, as well as cloud economics. You will work with customers to help them realize their business priorities, accompany them on their infrastructure modernization journey, and oversee application development, artificial intelligence, and data modernization paths. They help customers assess their application and business needs, recommend solutions that meet their needs, and demonstrate these solutions to win technology decisions. You must help customers remove deployment barriers and increase customer satisfaction. You will help our customers realize the value of digital transformation by leveraging our unique platform and leading infrastructure solutions. To build ⚠-⚠ long-term data center transformation projects, you must have both strong business driving force and high-level strategic thinking. Public sector experience is considered an advantage.

Required Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications

  • Several years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and several years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience building strategic transformation roadmaps, infrastructure solutions sales, HCI, data center migration, VDI, security. Experience serving public sector clients is desirable. Experience in application development, artificial intelligence and data innovation is considered an advantage but is not required.

Guide

  • Experience with leading large-scale cloud projects in the public sector, particularly those with cross-solution workloads including infrastructure, data migration and application modernization projects, Azure Infrastructure and security services.
  • Learn about the Global Recruitment Azure cloud platform with a focus on Global Recruitment infrastructure services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services, and/or complementary solutions.
  • Consumption project management. Experience building application migration projects using cloud adoption methodologies and frameworks - preferred.
  • Professional experience in a consulting/solution sales role covering infrastructure solutions for IaaS, VMware, VDI, NW, SAP, Hybrid Cloud, and technology frameworks for security solutions.
  • Ability to leverage technical frameworks such as the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework to guide customers and partners through a competitive cloud adoption environment.
  • Understand the competitive landscape for enterprise software solutions and cloud and data center infrastructure, including AWS and GCP and other partners.
  • Knowledge of the partner ecosystem and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
  • Certification. Certified Azure Associate Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
