Research Engineer Manufacturing - Technical environment

Our client is a private, non-religious research center dedicated to applied science. Their goal is to be internationally recognized as a leading technologist in the modeling and numerical simulation of processes, to be a strategic partner with large corporations that are international in scope as well as a real supporter of regional companies, including innovative small businesses. To assist in the increasing research endeavors on the design of metallic components with multiple functions, they are currently seeking a Research Engineer (M/F). The candidate will help contribute to the development of our client's finite element software, Morfeo, for the purpose of topologically optimized design with a direct connection to practical applications and needs. They will participate in the entire developmental cycle, from design to coding to testing and documentation. Following the rules already in place, they will develop. A PhD in Engineering or demonstrated equivalent experience additional knowledge in the multiple fields of physics involved in solid mechanics and/or electro-magnetics additional knowledge in the field of Topology optimization of multiple fields and the ability to analyze sensitivity to changes in parameters and code behavior. Proficiency in C++ programming and the ability to write and speak fluent English is a plus. The base salary is based on the experience of the employees.
