Reliability Engineer

P&J Staffing owns one of the most efficient integrated refining and petrochemical platforms in Antwerp. P&J Staffing Antwerp Refinery (TERA) is one of the most modern and diversified refineries in Europe and the largest in Belgium.

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer (M/F). This position is based in Antwerp. The reliability team interacts with other field units. Strategies, objectives, methods and procedures must be developed for specific disciplines. The Reliability Engineer position requires an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to solving problems that often involve different disciplines. The incumbent must establish guidelines to improve Turnaround and Investment (T&I) and the impact of project activities on availability.

As a Reliability Engineer you will:

• Analyze and report equipment/unit failures.
• Work with the Business Team (BT) to create a list of bad actors based on relevant data and defining criticality.
• Define, optimize and track preventive/predictive maintenance programs including spare parts. The approach should be based on BT’s criticality and best practices (including operations, inspections, engineering, etc.).
• Conduct availability studies: root cause analysis, vulnerability studies, spare parts requirements, FMEA, etc.
• Provide input for short and long term reliability action plans in his/her specific discipline and analysis based BT, TE input on technology network, improved technology, obsolete equipment, maintenance costs and resources, priority based on consequences and losses level/reason (=criticality).
• Support project departments in resolving reliability issues on new projects.
• Disseminate best practices by writing technical reports and creating topic-specific training packages and programs.
• Build technical expertise in his/her area of expertise and/or stay current.
• Transfers his/her knowledge through technical support, training, methods, procedures, etc.

You have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, an in-depth understanding of the entire refinery process, and at least ⚠ years of experience in this specific discipline. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
