Job Description: Program Manager for Transportation Network Design

The Program Manager for Transportation Network Design, the EU team responsible for transportation network optimization, has a team of dedicated transportation network design experts who aim to ensure Global Recruitment's packages reach customers safely, quickly, cost-effectively, and with a lower carbon footprint. The team's growth strategy is double-digit annually.

Your role as a Program Manager for Network Design involves leading programs that focus on strategic initiatives, addressing recurring issues related to quality, speed, cost, and carbon intensity of the Global Recruitment transportation network. You will have a significant impact on the entire European Global Recruitment network over time.

Your objective is not only to resolve issues but also to create new tools and improve processes continuously. Data-driven and an exceptional problem solver, you must analyze large datasets to extract relevant information, deliver projects on tight schedules, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and convert large data sets into actionable insights
• Create new tools and processes to improve network efficiency
• Lead projects focusing on quality, speed, cost, and carbon intensity
• Collaborate with teams across Tech, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Implement strategic objectives into project roadmaps
• Automate processes using Business Intelligence/Software Development
• Review network gaps and make suggestions for optimizations
• Maintain high quality, speed, cost efficiency, and low carbon intensity

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Project Management, or Management Consulting
• Strong communication skills to explain complex topics clearly
• Analytical thinking and proficiency in utilizing data for decision-making
• Attention to detail and track record of delivering accurate results
