We are looking for a partner specializing in railways. The industry RAMS engineer controls the RAMS activities and related results of the projects/programs for which he/she is responsible in accordance with applicable directives/processes and other specific requirements of the client.
- Deliver project/programme RAMS activities against QCD work package commitments.
- To ensure that RAMS delivers appropriate results, customer acceptance of RAMS is facilitated within the scope of Alstom's commitments and the security of independent parties (ISA, NoBo, DeBo, etc.).
- Participate in improving/defining RAMS processes.
- Define and communicate in a timely manner the necessary safety requirements to control relevant railway safety risks and track their completion (safety-related elements list/hazard log).
- Support other stakeholders (design, industry, procurement, validation, etc.) in developing appropriate measures to meet safety and reliability measures and track their completion with appropriate documented evidence.
- Serve as point of contact for RAMS matters in relevant scope (traction and auxiliary power converters) projects/programmes, especially with customers (internal or external).
- Consolidate the contribution of external suppliers to RAMS.
- Conduct safety and reliability design reviews based on the project/program plan.
- Support newcomer development (training, mentoring, and documentation review).
- Assist PrQSM in issuing safety approvals by providing necessary inputs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least ⚠ years of experience in RAMS or power electronics projects and/or programs.
- Knowledge of systems, electrical, electronics, and mechatronics engineering.
- Knowledge of RAM Commander tool (for reliability calculations) and ARALIA tool (for fault trees).
- Fluent English.
- Familiar with maintainability studies of railway equipment.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing electrical schematics and schematics - Ability to critically re-read and optimize schematics and schematics (redundancies, selectors, etc.).
- Failure and fault analysis can be performed with hardware or software contributors to contain and verify the Safety Integrity Level ⚠ or SIL⚠ functionality covered by the hardware or software of dedicated subsystems.
- Master classic safety methods such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMECA), Safety Related Item List (SRIL), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and be able to perform reliability calculation predictions using specific task profiles and units.
