QHSE Manager - Wind Sector

Due to this expansion, the company needs highly qualified experts. On behalf of KDB Services we are seeking a QHSE Manager - Wind Power Division who will ensure the effective implementation of the QHSE Management System and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's performance. Location: Weiswampach, Luxembourg.

As a QHSE Manager in the Wind Power Industry you will be responsible for the effective management of all company activities related to the quality, health, safety and environmental framework, with a particular focus on the safety of people and material resources as well as risk assessment and risk prevention strategies.

In other words, you will ensure that all operational activities are conducted in accordance with the following company policies and procedures:

  • Relevant standards governing the safety of all personnel and materials;
  • All applicable accreditations, certifications and requirements of ISO and other relevant standards.

Your responsibilities in key aspects of the role are as follows:

Health, Safety, Environment

  • Overall responsibility for the company's HSE processes and procedures - developing and maintaining systems that establish appropriate safety and security standards, monitoring compliance, and measuring/reporting performance.
  • Provide technical support to your team in designing company HSE processes and procedures and all related documentation.
  • Promote the application of HSE legislation and all relevant industry tools and guidance.
  • Assess and monitor the impact of changes in HSE legislation – Understand evolving HSE regulations and industry best practice and how they apply to a company’s operations. Provide advice on safe systems of work to comply with current and new HSE regulations.
  • Prior to each project, conduct risk analysis as follows: document and review risk assessment, maintain and update relevant documentation to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, implement results and communicate them to the client.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal HSE audits – conduct regular on-site inspections to review safety conditions and assess the effectiveness of systems and procedures.
  • Ensure required documents (project work plans, safety plans, evacuation plans, reports, etc.) are prepared in accordance with HSE standards and regulations and submitted to the client in a timely manner.
  • Provide practical support to external organizations to ensure compliance with internal and external standards; work with HSE auditors to ensure the company obtains/maintains its certification.
  • Year-end reporting and analysis of non-conformities, accidents and hazardous events, analyzing all accidents, incidents, near miss reports and non-conformities and reporting to management.
  • Ensures correct personal protective equipment is worn when required.

Quality

  • Overall responsibility for quality management - reviews, develops and manages all standards, policies and systems and ensures compliance with all applicable accreditations and certifications.
  • Provide technical support to your team in designing company quality processes and procedures and all related documentation.
  • Provide technical support for the creation of all relevant templates and documents and change management.
  • Support the leadership team in developing job descriptions and process descriptions and provide SWOT analysis support.
  • Arrange external support audits, prepare required documentation and ensure all required accreditations and accreditations are obtained as per the agreed timetable.
  • Monitor and maintain a process of continuous improvement.
  • Collect, review and document management review reports, annual HSEQ action plans, month-end safety reports and safety statistics reports for clients.

As a Wind Industry QHSE Manager, you share KDB Services's values ​​and goals and actively contribute to building a strong competitive position. Therefore, you must have:

  • A relevant technical background, preferably with extensive experience as an HSEQ Coordinator or similar role. Applicants with experience in the wind energy field are preferred.
  • Strong organizational, planning and risk management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Navision, Excel, Power BI.
  • Professional knowledge of French and good knowledge of English.
