Job Description
Global Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Renewable Energy Project Engineer to manage large and complex industrial photovoltaic projects in Belgium and Luxembourg. As the Renewable Energy Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of these projects, ensuring they meet project and client requirements, cost-effectiveness, and environmental standards. You will also provide technical support and design throughout the project management cycle, creating and implementing industrial PV project processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project needs and design state-of-the-art processes and solutions
- Provide design and engineering solutions for industrial photovoltaic projects
- Complete regular training to stay updated with industry advancements
- Evaluate designed processes and solutions for usability and security
- Create regular reports on project status and present results to managers and clients
- Work closely with the project manager on photovoltaic development and technology design
- Support the project manager in inspections and acceptance of the project
- Provide technical support to the pre-sales team for quotations
- Manage related documents and keep them up to date
Requirements
- Relevant engineering degree, preferably in industrial or electrical design engineering
- Technical knowledge and experience in industrial electrical/engineering
- Proficiency in ⚠D modeling using AutoCad or similar tools
- Good understanding of electrical design and installation technology
- Problem-solving and decision-making mindset
- Hard-working, proactive, and result-oriented
- Autonomous, flexible, and a team player
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet project timelines
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with good knowledge of English
