project engineer: Design

We are looking for a Project Application Engineer in the Leuven area who will:

• Define the needs of customers, business units and project teams.
• Based on your analysis, design constraints and criteria will define the product and process design.
• Build and plan product and process design teams with a customer focus and in a timely manner.
• Oversee individual design steps to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
• Develop quality and testing plans with all relevant teams and customers.
• Represent product and process design teams.
• Ensure activity and project planning is up to date.
• Reports to Engineering Manager.

You have:

• Master's degree with technical background or equivalent bachelor's degree with experience in a similar position.
• Relevant design, process, project management and project planning skills.
• They are cost-oriented and customer-oriented.
• Expertise and in-depth understanding of existing products and services.
• The ability to standardize processes to improve efficiency.
• Familiar with common standards, user research, etc. for medical devices.
• Have good knowledge of English (written and spoken). Dutch has an advantage.
