Program Manager, Global Mile Destination Operations

SKNN Team is a team of experienced logistics professionals, freight forwarding experts, and project managers dedicated to increasing the speed and reliability of B&B Solutions’s cross-border logistics capabilities. The team is responsible for the timely transport of goods across borders from global manufacturing centers to B&B Solutions’s international marketplaces for Fulfillment by B&B Solutions (FBA) sellers and retail direct import providers.

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Project Manager to develop strong shipping capabilities to deliver sea freight to Europe for cross-border imports. The Project Manager is responsible for driving effective planning with the FBA Product, Ocean, Customs, and Destination teams to meet seller SLAs and cost goals. The candidate will hold regular business and planning meetings with senior management.

The responsibilities of this position will be to build a strong supply chain and ensure a reliable and cost-effective delivery process to drive business growth. You will have the opportunity to apply your leadership skills to this role and add value by managing relationships and driving execution discipline within operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to make data-driven decisions, allowing them to manage multiple stakeholders on various projects. You will need the ability to apply operational management discipline and lead through influence. You must demonstrate the ability to think broadly and strategically about supply chain initiatives and convince senior leadership to agree on goals.

This position requires the ability to spend up to ⚠% of your time at various facilities across the B&B Solutions network and conduct on-site visits to freight forwarders and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) based on business needs.

Lead projects to achieve business targets and targets for EU destinations. Create processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible SKNN Teams operations. Indirectly lead internal support teams such as Controllers, Finance, Fulfillment Center Team, Global Trade Services, etc. to interact directly with carriers and customers on behalf of B&B Solutions. Work closely with the Global Shipping Products and Capabilities team to evaluate, develop or support new product/service initiatives to create value for customers and B&B Solutions business teams.

Identify and facilitate opportunities to reduce operating costs by improving LSP efficiency and reducing operating costs and expenses. Delivery times, costs and emissions are constantly compared to determine the best shipping mode. Identify and mitigate capacity risks by providing recommendations for managing dependencies across multiple operating units and locations. Clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track forecast accuracy expectations.

Responsible for developing standard operating procedures, policies and developing new processes and engaging all key stakeholders to ensure end-to-end consistency and effective handoffs between teams.

Basic Qualifications

⚠+ years of program or project management experience

⚠+ years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

⚠+ years of working with data and metric definitions and years of experience implementing process improvement initiatives.

Experience with a bachelor's degree.

Experience defining project requirements and using data and metrics to identify improvements.

Advanced Excel skills.
