Global Recruitment (ATS) is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, tech-savvy, innovative, hands-on and customer-focused candidate to work with the Ground Transportation Procurement team. In this role, you will support the current capacity procurement process using internal and external standards that support the growth of Global Recruitment's mid-mile transportation network. You will be responsible for developing, defining and implementing plans to procure carrier capacity in line with Global Recruitment' EU strategy while meeting performance and budget goals. You will work to develop business strategies to change the current transportation environment while influencing senior management's judgment on the direction of the mid-mile business.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, curious, highly motivated, and effective in distributed teams. Drive strategy, prioritize projects/initiatives and feature sets, and align and set stakeholder expectations for Global Recruitment. This requires interaction with Global Recruitment's ST and engineering teams. You can set up the structure and processes required for carrier procurement, including processes such as quoting and carrier selection. You will work closely with a team of project and product managers to drive requirements gathering and implementation and ensure alignment with business goals and contractual obligations. You must define, prioritize, and plan the resource and technical requirements needed to deliver the project on time. You will be required to communicate clearly, accurately and regularly with all relevant parties. This includes ongoing project/program status reporting and requirements gathering. You can set key procurement KPIs to measure, monitor, and improve metrics such as total cost of ownership and supplier base diversity. You will ensure the overall integrity of the project by monitoring project execution and ensuring project delivery meets appropriate quality levels and is consistent with target deadlines.
