Principal Intralogistics Design Engineer, Worldwide Design & Engineering

Well, we have the job for you. We are looking for some influential engineers to join our team. In this role, you will work with internal and external teams to develop high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You are the owner of multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization to design approval. You are the primary technical contact for our project vendors. Once the design is complete and approved, the project is handed over to our operations engineering team, who will oversee the installation and commissioning of the project. You will support the team to ensure successful installation, commissioning and startup of the systems you design.

Your projects can include greenfield, brownfield and retrofit projects, including highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities and shipping centers. Your project will be based on various templates and designed from scratch. You will work alongside a team of highly qualified and dedicated engineers in a fast-paced and often unclear environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects every year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high-impact and high-profile projects; and you will grow.

Basic qualifications:

• Luxembourg Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent or related field OR ⚠+ years of experience at Global Recruitment, ⚠+ years of experience in Design/ Innovative technology, manufacturing/process/industrial technology or similar fields.
• Experience must include responsibility/management of construction projects.
• Experience using business/technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project and CAD software preferred.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent, Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of five years in this Fields of progressively responsible experiences.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technology, robotics and/or high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience in process design based on Lean principles.
• Understand concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision-making.
• Ability to travel ⚠%, including worldwide.
