Principal (f/m/d) - Material Flow Engineering

Job Description:

This position is appropriate for professionals with prior experience in creating effective supply chain solutions; from the initial concept to the successful implementation of complex logistics systems. The position will give an overview of various industries and will collaborate with a powerful team in a global environment. Around ⚠-⚠% of the domestic and international travel is involved. Working from home is possible.

Your Duty:

• Hands-on optimization of the network and design of the facility.
• Directly involve the customer in the process of understanding the business requirements of the organization, recognizing the data requirements that must be accessed, and developing strategies that produce value.
• Identify the areas that need improvement, the alternatives that can be employed, and the benefits to the supply chain.
• Create solutions, facilitate the sourcing of services and equipment, and manage projects through the implementation of coordination tasks for small to medium-sized teams, ensuring timely delivery of results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics required
• ⚠ to ⚠ years of relevant supply chain experience in different areas like Network Optimization, Facility Design, Inventory Deployment, Process and material flow optimization, and S&OP
• Perfect written/oral communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a strong team player
• Highly motivated individual with a high degree of learning and independent work style
• Consulting experience is necessary, along with working across the supply chain in a functional manner
