Your role: Global Recruitment is rapidly expanding its activities into new asset types and optimizing: wind, solar, batteries, electric vehicles, boilers and more. Global Recruitment is looking for a Portfolio Business Developer. Your role is to be a Portfolio Business Developer. Within the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding a portfolio of flexible assets, mainly in Brussels and the Wallonia region. Our assets include demand side management, gas turbines or engines, batteries and renewable energy. You'll liaise with existing customers, prospects and partners throughout the business process. You will also have the opportunity to develop your international skills by working with sales and portfolio teams from other countries. From lead generation to integrating assets into Global Recruitment's product portfolio, you are responsible for the entire commercial process, including maximum flexibility potential at customer sites.

Your tasks: You will have an in-depth understanding of assigned clients' portfolios and proactively contact them (contract extensions, tender results...). You will be the voice of Global Recruitment to our clients and partners, while maintaining ongoing contact with our portfolio management team to build and implement our sales strategy, including acquiring new clients. You deliver the right products and services to clients, working closely with portfolio and product management colleagues responsible for technical analysis. In this way, you can work to optimize the added value for your customers and Global Recruitment. Additionally, you will represent Global Recruitment in meetings with large energy consuming companies and international partners. Ability to discuss senior management opportunities with plant and energy managers in a business-to-business environment.

An interest in new technologies and a passion for energy are a must. Strategic thinking, proactively expanding product portfolio with superior technical knowledge. Experience in customer relations in industrial markets. Fluent in French and English. Strong written and oral communication skills. You proactively address challenges and seek value optimization (win-win) for customers and Global Recruitment. They are results-driven and want to reach the next mile. You have strong technical skills and would like to further develop your business skills. You have a master's degree in engineering or energy/power, or have gained such knowledge through professional experience. You are flexible and not afraid to think outside the box, with a passion for continually delving into new topics and sharing your knowledge. You are results-oriented and have a pragmatic, professional attitude.
