Pack Development PM, EU Sustainable Packaging

Are you interested in driving meaningful packaging waste reduction and carbon footprint reduction programs for W&P Agency and contributing to a sustainable world? We are looking for an experienced, motivated, analytical and creative Project Manager to join the European Sustainable Packaging team.

Packaging is the first tangible aspect that customers experience when receiving an order on W&P Agency, and customers are heavily influenced by what they see and touch. The European Sustainable Packaging team designs and implements packaging solutions that delight customers and reduce packaging waste required to protect products to a minimum, while improving operational performance, optimizing costs and reducing carbon footprints as part of climate commitments.

As a Project Manager in the European Sustainable Packaging team, you will be responsible for managing technical packaging documentation (including certificates of conformity), graphics and relationships with the material characterization and packaging performance laboratories. You will also work with packaging suppliers and fulfillment centers to manage packaging quality control mechanisms and lead root cause analysis.

For you, quality comes first, you always pay attention to detail and insist on maintaining high standards. The ability to work independently and respond to uncertain environments is a must. The ideal candidate is proactive, agile, has strong project management skills and possesses continuous improvement tools.

The key to success is having a strong motivation to delve deeply into the data to independently identify causes and solve problems.

Technical Document Management
Artwork Management
Work closely with the Material Characterization and Packaging Performance Laboratory to ensure comprehensive performance testing of packaging materials.
As Technical Manager, work closely with procurement and packaging suppliers during the tender process.
Conduct a gap analysis of the performance of existing packaging and implement targeted improvements to increase efficiency, sustainability and overall effectiveness. Material optimization reduces overall packaging waste and carbon footprint.
Participate in the development of innovative packaging designs and materials.
Create requirements documents for your processes and services as well as your own business metrics and KPIs.
Demonstrate strong product management, organizational and leadership skills.

Basic Qualifications
Program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to identify and drive improvements
Experience in program strategy, end-to-end delivery and management experience with supervisors
Communicating Results Leadership
Bachelor's Degree
Intermediate Excel knowledge (e.g. pivot tables and charts, multi-criteria searches, nested logic/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
Leading process improvement experience
Business Administration, Operations, HR, Master's degree in adult education, organizational development, teaching or MBA in design or related field.
SQL knowledge.
