OT Security Engineer

As an OT Security Engineer, you are responsible for providing high-quality advice and technical expertise in the field of operational technology (OT) in industrial environments. You play a key role in building the OT Security Operations Center (OT SOC), participate in protecting critical OT systems, and are a source of information on the network and network security space.

What are you going to do?

• Consulting and Strategy: Develop OT security strategic plans and advise clients on industrial IT best practices.
• Design and Implementation: Design and implement security solutions for OT systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security mechanisms.
• Incident Response: Establish incident response procedures and coordinate responses to security incidents in the OT environment.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with service and project teams and customers to improve OT security and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Awareness and Education: Organize training and awareness programs for employees to promote safety culture within the organization.
• Preventative: You can proactively identify issues as part of regular preventive maintenance and monitor backup and disaster recovery processes.

Who are you?

You:

• Have earned at least a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
• Are flexible; if necessary, you will turn to our clients.
• Have a driver's license B.
• Are ready to obtain IEC⚠.
• Your communication with colleagues and clients is smooth and professional.
• Are analytical and able to work conceptually.
• Are a strong self-starter and like to roll up your sleeves.
• Have relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, network infrastructure components, and operating systems.
• Have hands-on experience with servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware, VEEAM, Docker, Cisco, Siemens Scalance, PaloAlto is an advantage.
• You will have an advantage if you have MSCA/E, CCNA, VCP, IEC⚠, or CEH/CISSP certification.
