Network Planning Analyst II


The position can be based in Luxembourg or London. The Network Planning Analyst II will provide leadership in driving speed and cost performance through project and network initiatives and will build business partnerships with first and middle mile stakeholders and the AMZL operations team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing network speed plans and delivering on our vision of increasing customer order fill rates and driving exceptional customer experiences. A key part of the role is identifying and implementing new network design initiatives as well as innovative operating models, scalable processes and measurement mechanisms. The goal of this position is to facilitate senior functional leadership approval to implement performance improvement strategies and plan cross-functional resource allocations efficiently and effectively. You are a natural proactive person who enjoys supporting complex cross-functional projects and action plans. You have a real hands-on approach, the ability to generate solutions, strong process management skills and are an effective communicator. This position involves regular communication with senior management regarding network performance, risks and time-sensitive remediation actions. To be successful in this role, you must be able to comfortably interact with senior stakeholders and manage diverse functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Basic qualifications:

  • Freshly graduated bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. Macros, Pivot, Find, VBA)
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills, with in-depth operational metrics and problem-solving experience
  • Ability to appropriately assess priorities, resolve conflicts and deliver on time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Learn about project management, managing multiple priorities and working with diverse stakeholders
  • Previous experience in a network planning or logistics/operations management position
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Strong execution and presentation capabilities
