What you become part of: This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the growing BCR team globally. The manager will assist with implementing the BCR strategy, framework and programs within Global Recruitment. The manager reports to the Global Recruitment leader (Associate director) for Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Incident Management Crisis Resolution (IMCR), the latter of which is led by the BCM team, the report will:
- Support the implementation of the BCM, IMCR strategy and framework.
- Support the development of and delivery of Global Recruitment-wide BCM-related training and education.
- Implement and support the BCM-related communication program.
- Collate, present and report on the results of the BCM / IMCR strategy, training and education, and communication program.
- Support the IMCR leader and counterpart, for all IMT incidents in Europe.
The manager will collaborate closely with the larger BCR team, there will be opportunities to collaborate and promote innovation and the enhancement of the overall BCM / IMCR strategy.
What is expected: Help manage and support the delivery of the BCM Program across the Global Recruitment and local markets. The role will be required to;
- Travel to work in Europe, within plants, warehouses, shared service centers and HQs across European countries in order to support the delivery of the BCM Strategy.
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) across Global Recruitment in order to identify critical individuals, technologies, equipment and suppliers.
- Complete risk assessments and scenario planning, and distribute results to interested parties.
- Support the development and delivery of BCM and IMCR training and awareness across Global Recruitment.
- Support the development and delivery of bespoke Incident Management Teams (IMT) scenarios, live experiments and joint sessions between Global Recruitment and other internal or external partners. This will involve BCPs that are based on projects to mitigate specific risks associated with strategy, as well as operational BCPs that are based on the site itself. These will help to improve the efficiency and results of the process. Additionally, they will create a PowerBI dashboard that is relevant to the different cultures across Global Recruitment territories and the different audiences across different types of sites (e.g. Compare the salaries of the different positions (HQ, Plant, etc. BPT, insurance, QESH, supply chain, and ERP. Help the company achieve and maintain the ISO ⚠ standard across chosen locations. Act as a link between the locations and other departments within Global Recruitment, this will facilitate discussions that will help to increase resilience. Deliver multiple one-off BCM projects based on alterations to the business environment (e.g. Brexit).
- Help with other tasks that are associated with BCM (e.g. QESH ISO ⚠).
- Create and maintain ties with the important stakeholders at both sites and central functions, as well as the larger BCR community within Global Recruitment (e.g. BC Champions, Global Recruitment).
- Act as a link between the larger BCR community, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and the collaboration of actions derived from the BCM Program.
- Organize the logistics of implementing the BCR / IMCR Program (e.g. creating agendas, scheduling meetings, exercise and interviews).
- Support the BCM / IMCR Senior Manager in presenting the results of the BCM program in a pertinent way to the business.
Skills & Essentials: Experience
- Proven experience in BCM/organisational resilience (minimum ⚠/⚠ years) or Business management including roles involving project and cross functional scope (including risk management and mitigation)
- Experience in risk management and evaluation of different levels of risk (including incident management and response to security)
- Demonstrated expertise and history in BCM or other software
- Consultancy experience is preferred
