Job Description:

The purpose of the Manager Accounting & Reporting is to assist our clients in completing their periodic accounting and reporting processes. This is intended to ensure that all of the Antwerp entities that are controlled by the group have numbers that are reported in accordance with the group's accounting policies and procedures in a timely and accurate manner. The Manager Accounting & Reporting oversee the establishment of policies and internal controls, they also seek to have uniform and consistent accounting principles applied to the reporting entities of the company. The manager audits the income statement and balance sheet of the entities, which ensures the proper valuation of the general ledger's positions and inventory, specifically.

Objective:

The financial department attempts to instill a purposeful accounting and reporting style. Their objective is to achieve superior financial reporting and to educate the leadership about the financial performance of manufacturing in support of their business decisions. They also want to make sure all of the policies and procedures that define the landscape of the company are followed.

Primary Areas of Responsibility:

• The monthly accounting and reporting of Antwerp's finances are completed in accordance with the closing schedule and the group's accounting policies and procedures (IFRS).
• Maintain the accounting records for non-active entities every month.
• Review the monthly quality of the final results for all entities.
• Work with the corporate accounting and tax department on any issues they may have to clarify the reported numbers or complete the reporting schedule.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Economy.
• At least five years of experience in a financial management position.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people.
• Strong analytical capacity and organized mindset.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Proficient in communication and understand both Dutch and English.
