Job Description:

WST Services is seeking individuals with a passion for and commitment to work towards a position as an IT Support Technician for our IT Warehouse. This role facilitates the provision of replenishment services and procedural assistance for IT Offices. The successful technician will have the ability to utilize their knowledge to prepare hardware and assist the operations team in resolving technical issues within the Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and image new corporate laptops and desktops for the Warehouse, both internal and external use.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, imaging systems, and network issues.
• Describe appropriate methods of escalation, test proposed solutions and follow up to ensure issue resolution.
• Work with other IT Operations teams to maintain system SLAs for production support issues.
• Take on small projects within the IT Warehouse.
• Work within a small team, coordinating efforts and supporting multiple concurrent goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience in the operating system (Windows, MacOS, or Linux)
• Proficiency in the MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Experience with computers and their imaging capabilities
• Experience with hardware issues and IT Asset management and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal English abilities
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer science or other related fields
• The ability to recognize and resolve issues in a proactive manner or by increasing the volume of issues
• Experience with a troubleshooting system and basic scripting and process automation
• The capacity to handle multiple customer requests simultaneously
• One or more years of experience in the Service Desk environment
• The capacity to work both alone and as part of a team is necessary
