Lab Logistic Support Associate

Global Recruitment is seeking support from Logistics Lab to strengthen its growing team in Leuven. Are you motivated and passionate about science? Then this could be a great opportunity! As a Logistics Laboratory Support Assistant, you will be involved in inventory management and general laboratory support. You are responsible for ensuring laboratory equipment is available so analysts can focus on research and development for the life sciences industry. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday with flexible hours. This day job does not include shift work or weekend work. Due to an extended absence, this is a temporary position for ⚠ months. The Team

The lab was recently established and is still under full development. You work within a team of ⚠ to ⚠ employees and work closely with clients. This team is part of our Laboratory and Product Services segment, which provides R&D support to the life sciences industry to major pharmaceutical companies and laboratories around the world.

This is how you succeed and make an impact.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain inventory levels through stocktaking, ordering and tracking.
• Receives incoming shipments, scans, registers them in the system and distributes them to the correct location to ensure laboratory equipment is always available.
• Manage returned goods and inspect them for damage.
• Maintain Inventory Manager internal IT systems ensuring digital information is up to date.

Logistics Laboratory Support:

• Waste management by collecting organic waste, unpacking materials and sorting waste.
• Coordinate lab coat envelopes for cleaning.
• Prepare a buffer for analysts.
• Clean analytical laboratory equipment such as water baths, incubators, workbenches, etc.
• Check air pressure.
• Wash glassware.

What are we looking for.

• Education level: General university degree.
• Experience: Not required. Strong motivation and willingness to learn are the most important.
• Proof: Applicants with driver's license and car are preferred.
• Collaboration tools: Good basic knowledge of MS Office
• Preferred qualifications: Strong communication skills in English and good communication skills in French (Level B⚠)
