IT Support Intern

We are currently looking for an IT Support Trainee (in training) to join our IT onsite team in Leuven, Belgium. This position is the first point of contact for Global Recruitment IT customer support.

Requirements to qualify for an internship:

• To qualify as an intern, you must currently be studying or completing your studies in Belgium, some of which require completing an internship and/or submitting a thesis at the end of the year.
• This collaboration requires a three-party contract.
• Global Recruitment take at least ⚠ months and can last up to ⚠ or ⚠ months, depending on whether you are able to work full-time (⚠ days a week) or part-time (a combination of days or more) based on your studies requirements, work study on the remaining days of the week.
• In accordance with Belgian law on this subject, this internship is not remunerated.
• You will be supervised and gain professional experience through a training program. If your degree requires a thesis, performance evaluation and tutoring are provided.

As our IT Support Intern, you will provide technical support to onsite users via telephone and/or our communications systems. Sometimes you can also enter calls into a department support call tracking database/system. With basic technical knowledge, as an IT Support Intern, you will assist the team in supporting and resolving basic issues with hardware, software, and related equipment. You'll also need to escalate more complex support issues to your team manager.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Hardware installation/desk setup for new employees, transfers, etc.
• OS (operating system)/software delivery tasks.
• ICT hardware procurement task management.
• Ticket system processing (immediate service), response, tracking, etc.

Degree: You are pursuing a major, bachelor's degree, or other degree in management information systems, computer science, information resources management, information technology, or a closely related field. Related areas.

Language: Fluent English skills required, any other language (e.g. Dutch or others) is an advantage.

Ability to work well in a team.
